B9 Community Indicators Project: Assess Quality of Life
Monday, September 15, 2008 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM; Room 101B
How is your neighborhood doing? Is it better than last year? How can you tell? Many places use “indicators” to help answer those questions.
Indicators provide a common framework to measure and undersant how neighborhood conditions and overall quality of life are changing over time. Indicator reports include common points of reference that make clear comparisons and facilitate goal-setting. In many places, indicators are used as catalysts for making decisions strategically and cooperatively for long-term neighborhood improvement.
